Message:   New version of "Cindy Demonstrates the Inflatable Gargantula"

As some of you perhaps know, I have the (bad?) habit of going back and re-formatting the old Cindy video clips from time to time. This time I've reformatted "Cindy Demonstrates the Inflatable Gargantula", otherwise known as cindyv15.mpg.

Mostly what I've done is to brighten it up (it was too dark) and try (somewhat unsuccessfully) to reduce the amount of video noise that was in the clip. I've also used a newer and better MPEG encoder, so the new file is 19% smaller than the old one (5.3 MB vs. 6.5 MB).

The new version of cindyv15.mpg has been uploaded to the "Data Archive" web site and to Bill Baroud's FTP server.

However, if you have previously downloaded the older version of cindyv15.mpg and don't mind the fact that the image is fairly dark, then there's no reason to bother downloading the new version.
