I've been "slowly but surely" updating the old Cindy video clips, where the keyword seems to be "slowly". But I've finally gotten around to reformatting clip cindyv12.mpg, the "Cindy Thinks That Candy Is Dandy" clip.

This new version is changed as follows:

- larger resolution, 448 x 400 vs. 320 x 288.
- audio added, original plus dialog and background music
- better MPEG-1 compression

The new version is 3.2 MB vs. 2.7 MB for the old version. I hope you'll agree that this increase in file size is worth it for the improvements.

This new version of cindyv12.mpg has been uploaded to the FTP server kindly provided by member "bill_baroud". You can get to it via this page: http://194.148.1.63/user_count.php

Try following the instructions on this page: http://www.cindyandjoe.com/FTP.html

You say "the ftp-server woun't accept my password". Are you talking about the password assigned for the FTP server or your MSN/Hotmail password? Neither of these needs to be entered manually by you. The FTP server password should get entered automatically after your username has been validated. You should never enter your MSN/Hotmail password anywhere except for places which are obviously official MSN/Hotmail sign-in pages, and only when there is a secure connection (the padlock icon should be visible on the browser status line.)
