Message: Inflatable Gargantula video clip now on FreeDrive

There's a new Cindy video clip, cindyv14.mpg, available on our FreeDrive area. Click here for information about how to access the Cindy files on FreeDrive.

This clip is formatted somewhat differently than all of the previous Cindy clips, in that the resolution is 448 x 400 pixels, making the screen area almost twice as large as for the other clips, which were 320 x 288 pixels. This means that the picture will be significantly larger on your screen. Incidentally, make sure that you maximize your Media Player window, or at least give it enough screen space to let it display the clip in full resolution.

The disadvantage of using a greater resolution is that it makes the MPG file much bigger. This new clip is 9.5 MB, even though it only runs for 1 min. 21 seconds.

There are no still pics associated with this clip, at least not yet. We did take a few still pics, and they will be posted eventually.

As usual, Cindy and I would love to receive your feedback. You are also welcome to give us suggestions for future video clips.

I've now posted the new Cindy video clip, cindyv14.mpg, to a couple of news groups, so if you're having trouble getting it from FreeDrive, and if you have a good news reader program, then you can perhaps get it that way.

Although the mood in the clip isn't exactly erotic at least sweet Cindy is, as always, the wonderwoman of stuffing!

I've exchanged a couple of e-mails with FreeDrive about whether the "Download Limit Exceeded" messages are reasonable or not. They sent me a log showing the downloads from CindyAndJoe1 for 24 hours, and they really did add up to 750 MB! (They had previously assured me that the $10 per month PowerDrive subscription provides 750 MB per day in downloads.) I guess Cindy is a lot more popular than we realized.

The new cindyv14.mpg file was downloaded 14 times that day, which gives a load of 133 MB. The joker in this situation is the huge cindyv00.mpg file (38 MB), which was downloaded 7 times that day, giving a load of 266 MB. The remaining 350 MB was a mixture of all of the other files. I was surprised to see that some people are downloading the JPG files from FreeDrive, presumably because they are easier to download from FreeDrive than from here at MSN.

So unless someone has a suggestion as to where I can find free, or almost free disk space with unlimited bandwidth, I think the current FreeDrive solution is the best available for making the Cindy vide clips publicly available. Hopefully the number of downloads will decrease after a while, at least until a new Cindy video clip is added to our FreeDrive area.

By the way, I'm positively surprised by FreeDrive's customer support. It's much better than MSN's for example.

I've re-formatted the cindyv14.mpg file using a new MPEG-1 compression program. This resulted in the file becoming a bit smaller (9.1 MB vs. 9.5 MB) while the quality became slightly better.

The new version of this video clip has been re-posted to FreeDrive and has also been uploaded to the FTP server being provided by member "bill_baroud". So if you've previously been unable to download this clip from FreeDrive then you can try to download it from the FTP server at http://194.148.1.63/user_count.php

If you have previously succeeded in downloading this clip then the very minor improvement in the new version is not enough to make it worth downloading again.
