Here is my answer:

Cindy and I travel a lot, and Cindy was worried for a while about the metal detectors at airports. However, so far there has been only one incident that may have been related to the rings she wears in her pussy lips.

When you think about all the jewelry many women wear (finger rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.), it must imply that the metal detectors are set to sound the alarm only for more solid pieces of metal.

The one incident we've experienced was at San Francisco airport in 1998. The alarm went off when Cindy went through the gate, and a nice young lady took Cindy aside and started going over her with a wand. She couldn't find anything, and Cindy said, "er, try down here..." and pointed at her crotch. The young lady smiled a crooked smile and said, "you have something down there?" Cindy nodded, and the young lady said, "OK, just go on in," without running her wand over Cindy any more.
