I've discovered that I made a mistake when I formatted the Cindy still pictures produced during the last year.

I'd upgraded to Adobe Photoshop version 6.0, and I didn't notice that when you save to JPEG format the default was to include EXIF information, including a thumbnail. (EXIF information is extra information that can be embedded in a JPEG file and typically includes information about what camera was used and the time of the picture taking and the camera's settings.)

This EXIF information, and especially the embedded thumbnail, made all of the resulting JPEG files about 18 KB larger than they should have been. To add insult to injury, the thumbnail that I've embedded in each picture is not even a thumbnail of the picture in question.

I've now used a program called "Exifer for Windows" (highly recommended, see http://www.exifer.friedemann.info/) to remove this EXIF data, and I've re-posted all of the Cindy still pictures that contained this improper/unnecessary data.

There's no need to re-download these pictures if you already have them. The pictures themselves are completely unchanged - they're just approx. 18 KB smaller.
