The "Cindy and Joe" Message Archive
From: Joe Sent: 5 July 2002 Message 1 of 8
I'm proud to announce that I've finally gotten around to doing something I've wanted to do for the last several years. I've created "The 'Cindy and Joe' Message Archive" on our new web site, at this URL: http://cindyandjoearchive.com/Messages/index.htm
This new message archive now replaces the "Excite club archives" found on this MSN group. In fact, so far the new message archive only contains messages from our old Excite club, which existed from Sept. 1999 to Aug. 2000.
However, I intend to slowly but surely copy all of the interesting message threads from this message board to the new message archive. That will make "The 'Cindy and Joe' Message Archive" the definitive and most authoritative source of information about vaginal fisting anywhere on the Internet, or anywhere else on the planet for that matter.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of "Cindy and Joe" who have posted questions, and especially the ones who have posted answers, for helping me to create this message archive. A special word of thanks to Zappaz. (Zappaz hasn't been around for a while due to health problems, and I haven't heard from him lately. Hope you are doing OK, Zappaz.)

First a quick progress report: I've now added all of the interesting messages posted here at our MSN group during the year 2000. So now there's only 1 1/2 years worth of messages left to copy to the new message archive! :-)
I'm rather proud of this message archive, so if there are any fellow nerds among the members I'd like to tell how I've done this project. The messages are stored in a Microsoft Access database. I've created three Visual Basic programs: one to re-format the old Excite Clubs messages (which had been saved in txt files) to a standardized format in the Access database, one to re-format messages copied from these web pages to the Access database, and finally one to format all of the messages in the database as HTML pages, complete with index pages and navigation buttons.

Another progress report: I've now copied all of the interesting messages up to June 2001 to the new message archive. Only one year's worth of messages left. There are now about 225 message threads in the message archive.
Has anyone taken a look at the message archive? Any comments or suggestions?

Yes! It's done!
I've now copied all of the relevant messages up to and including June 2002. "The 'Cindy and Joe' Message Archive" now contains 400 message threads and takes up over 4 MB of storage!
I may still make some minor refinements and may change the set of categories into which the messages are allocated. But basically the message archive is now done and is ready for you to browse though.
In the future I'll update the message archive 3-4 times a year, copying all the new (and relevant) messages from this message board.

First it was done, then it was gone. :-(
As I've indicated on another message thread, GeoPrissies (GeoCities) had deleted "The Cindy and Joe Data Archive", which means the message archive is also gone.
I'll try to find a new host.

And now it's back again!
After much difficulty (no thanks to Yahoo GeoCities) I managed to obtain control of the cindyandjoearchive.com domain name and have now subscribed to another web hosting service which I hope will work out better than GeoCities did.
So now "The 'Cindy and Joe' Message Archive" is up and running again, and can be found at this address: http://cindyandjoearchive.com/Messages/index.htm
I hope you all find it interesting. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Forgot to mention that I haven't uploaded the Cindy pictures or video clips yet to the new web server. The Cindy pictures can be found in this MSN group, and the video clips can be found on Bill Baroud's FTP server.

The "'Cindy and Joe' Message Archive" now has a search facility! This means that if you're interested in finding all messages about a certain subject (like exploding inflatable dildos), you can search for "explod", for example.
The message archive is here: http://cindyandjoearchive.com/Messages/index.htm
This search facility is implemented via a fantastic product called SpiderLine. Highly recommended. http://www.spiderline.com
