Congratulations to us! "Cindy and Joe (Public)" now has over 10 000 members!

This is especially impressive since "Cindy and Joe (Public)" is a public group, i.e., everyone can look at the pictures without becoming a member. I happen to know that when an adult-rated group is private then it gets a lot more members because people apply for membership just to see if it contains anything of interest. So the membership of a public group reflects a greater degree of real interest than the membership of a private group.

I'd like to think that the success of "Cindy and Joe" is due to the great amount of participation by real people on this message board, plus the informative and friendly atmosphere that Cindy and I try to maintain here. But in reality, it's probably mostly just the huge number of people who want to look at the pictures and otherwise remain totally passive.

Still, I'm very pleased that "Cindy and Joe" has been such a success. 10 000 members is a lot more than Cindy and I ever contemplated when we started back at Excite Clubs in 1999. I can still remember how excited we were when we made it up to 50 members after a couple of months! Now we typically get over 100 members every week!

Thanks to all of the active members who are very much a part of success of "Cindy and Joe".
