Message: Brand new "Cindy and Joe" web site!

Hello all,

Good news! I've purchased some space on a web server and created a brand new "Cindy and Joe" web site there!

The primary purpose of the new web site will be to provide a home for the Cindy video clips. It will thus replace Bill Baroud's FTP server for this purpose. The main reason for this replacement is that we have a 10 GB per month bandwidth limit on Bill Baroud's FTP server, and this limit is being exceeded at the moment. The bandwidth limit on the new web site is 25 GB per month.

As well as the Cindy video clips the new web site also contains all of the Cindy pictures, duplicating their storage on this MSN Community. Also, it is my intention to add a lot of factual information about vaginal fisting to the new web site when I have the time.

The URL for the new web site is http://www.CindyAndJoeArchive.com

To download video clips from the new site you need a password. In order to reserve this service to members of this MSN community I have placed the current password in a text file in the Documents area of this community.

The new site is not completely ready for production use yet, but I would appreciate it if some members tested it out and reported any problems to me.

Come on, guys, it's been two days since I announced the new site. I can see in the statistics that there have been over 1000 page views (top-level pages) and almost 1.8 GB of downloads.

Doesn't anyone have any comments? Specifically, has anyone run into any problems?

Hey Joe, Visited the new site and it is setup pretty well. I do have a suggestion though. It would be helpful in the pictures section if there were a home or back button to get you back to the picture listing. The arrow keys are good to scroll from one pic to the next but there is no way to jump back the sub-listing or then back to the main listing.

It really works well, you did a pretty good job on that one, but I will have just one little remark.

The buttons on the top page are java applets (program) if I saw it right.

There is a problem that could occure with windows XP users, as Microsoft don't ship XP with java support no more, because a trial with Sun, the creator of java.

So every XP user who don't know it will just have a pic with a broken symbol on it.

Beside, it's really easily done using the "rollover" javascript function which is supported by every browser known this day, except text mode browser (yes, it exists !)

I won't go into javascript programming here, just mail me if you think it could be useful to switch.

There should be. There should be a button with an upward arrow which will get you back to the thumbnail index. And there should be a big blue button at the top of the page which says "Cindy Pictures" that gets you to the picture albums index.

Please let me know if these buttons are not showing up for you, especially the big blue one, which Bill Baroud suggests may not be working for Windows XP.

As you know I do have a bit of technical knowledge, so tech talk is fine by me.

I can tell you (and anyone else interested) that I made most of the site with MS FrontPage 2000. The picture albums were made with a product called Express Thumbnail Creator.

The big blue buttons with the rollover characteristic are standard FrontPage buttons. I was assuming that Microsoft wouldn't put something into FrontPage that wouldn't be useable on all browser platforms, but maybe I'm wrong.

Could someone who is running Windows XP please confirm or deny whether these three big blue buttons are working or not.

This is unbelievable. The new "Cindy and Joe" site has only been up for three days and already I can see that it's being seriously overloaded.

During the last 24 hours alone there has been a total of 2.5 GB of downloads!

At this rate the monthly limit of 25 GB will be reached after only 10 days! Then the site will shut itself down for the next 20 days until the month has expired.

I'll have to do some thinking about this. Maybe only allow video clip downloads 2 days a week or something like that.

Anyway, just on general principles I've now changed the password for the video clips. The new password is in the same file in the Documents area.

Hi "lion heart", and welcome to our community.

The new web site does not need any username or password for access to most of it.

If you want to download Cindy video clips then you do need a username and password. This can be found in the Documents section of this MSN community.

I'm doing it this way because of the bandwidth limit of 25 GB per month. Cindy and I pay the expenses for this web site out of our own pockets and we don't particularly want to subsidize guys who just cruise around looking for free porn. We hope that by making the username and password available only to members of this MSN community that we increase the chances that only people who appreciate fisting and stretching activities can be bothered to sign up.

Thanks. "Cindy and Joe" is my hobby and I do like the idea that other people find Cindy just as exciting and wonderful as I do, so I guess I'm showing her off. :-)

As for testing the buttons with Windows XP, the ones that I'm worried about are the three big blue buttons at the top of the screen. They should show a "rollover" effect when the mouse is hovered over them - a kind of semicircle should appear at the left end of the button. And they should take you somewhere when you click on them. Could you please confirm specifically that these three buttons are working? Thanks.

Jesus holy mackerel, i do like what is see Joe and so does another member. I haven't been able yet to download all the video's, since it'll take quite some time. Besides that some vid's don't load well. For instance the inflatable one is in your files more than a minute and on my computer only 39 secs. The length of the video clips should be correct, so if you're getting a shorter time you must have an incomplete download. You can check this by looking at the size of the file on your hard disk and comparing it to the specified size.

Bad news. The Cindy video clips are hugely popular, far beyond my wildest expectations. During the eight days that the new site has been up the bandwidth usage has climbed out of control. The last 24 hours alone resulted in a bandwidth usage of 4.4 GB!

The total available bandwidth of 25 GB per month is almost gone. In order to avoid the entire site being shut down when the 25 GB limit is hit I've decided to terminate downloads of the video clips until the end of the month.

If you want to download the Cindy video clips and haven't managed yet, please come back around the 29th of June. At that time I hope to be able to restore the service, at least for a while.

I've opened up for access to the Cindy video clips again. I'm not sure if there is enough bandwidth left for access to remain open for the rest of the month or not. We'll see.

One thing I'd like to mention again (it's also specified on the web site) is that I really want to appeal to people to not download both versions of the "Cindy's first fisting video" clip. Please download either the version where the whole clip is in one file or the version where it is split up into five files.

I can see in the web site's log file that despite this appeal that some people do download both versions. When you do that you are wasting bandwidth (which Cindy and I pay for out of our own pockets), you are preventing others from downloading clips because the bandwidth runs out, and you are wasting your own time and hard disk space.

Well, I'm afraid that didn't last long. I've had to shut down the access to the video clips again. During the last 34 hours the bandwidth usage has been 3.8 GB so now the limit for the month of June is definitely used up.

I've opened up for access to the Cindy video clips on the new web server (http://cindyandjoearchive.com) again. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes before the 25 GB bandwidth limit for July is gone. Sigh. :-(

The 12 short clips that make up the "Cindy Visits Joe's Dungeon" video will not be placed on the new web server, at least not this month. So those clips are only available on Bill Baroud's FTP server, http://194.148.1.63/CindyJoe. (The one long video file for "Cindy Visits Joe's Dungeon" is available on both servers.)

Usernames and passwords for both servers can be found in the Documents section of this MSN group.

Well, that sure didn't last long. One week, to be exact.

The bandwidth allotment for the whole month of July is almost gone. In order to keep the other parts of the new web site open I've now closed access to the video clips.

I'd like to think that this huge demand for Cindy video clips is due to Cindy's popularity. In reality I'm guessing that the demand is more due to the popularity of free pornography in general.

Access to the video clips will be opened up again on the 1st of August.

Until then members can download the Cindy video clips from Bill Baroud's FTP server. The access is a bit more complicated and slower, but the monthly bandwidth allotment has not been used up there (yet).

Damn it all, here we go again!

GeoPrissies (aka. Yahoo! GeoCities) has deleted the new "Cindy and Joe Data Archive" web site, saying it is in violation of their "Terms of service". All right, I knew that, but I didn't think they enforced it, seeing as how there's tons of porn on GeoCities.

The basic problem is that Cindy and I are too idealistic (stupid?). If we were willing to make a pay web site there would be lots of alternatives for hosting the site. But because we want it to be free for the users, and we don't want to pay too much ourselves to indulge our hobby, there seems to be almost no viable hosting possibilities.

(We actually paid GeoCities a total of $95 for two months subscription and the setup fee. I find it hard to understand why they refuse porn on a paid GeoCities site where nobody can even see that it's hosted with GeoCities and there are no banner ads so no advertisers can be unhappy about being associated with a porn site.)

I'll try to figure something else out.

Thanks for tryin Joe. I know how hard it can be to try and run an nice "free" site. If you aren't paying for hidden fees, you're paying with your time.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I think you and Cindy do a wonderful job with this site. It's a great community, better than any other club I belong to.
