Message: Problems downloading videos.

When trying to download videos from the site I get a "connection to server was reset" message after a while.
It seems to be random. It is like that here on all msn communities, but not on the excite club.

Am I the only one with this problem or are there more ppl with the same experience?

I live in Sweden but i think the distance to the server really shouldn't affect anything.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to remesy this!

heya.....newbie here.
Ya, the vids are getting cut off after a while. I have found that if you download it and it stops, downloading it again will get it a little further each time.....but thats not much good for biggish files.
so anyways....ya...your not alone in the problem.

This is a known problem, and has already been addressed twice on this message board. Sigh...

There is something wrong with MSN Web Communities when downloading large files. MSN had acknowledged the problem (although they try to blame it on users having connections that are "too slow") but who knows when they'll get around to fixing it.

One user has reported that it helps to do the downloading in off peak hours - which shouldn't be difficult for you, living in Europe. (I assume that peak hours are during the evening American time.)

I thought that I had created a temporary solution, at least for the three Cindy video clips. I've created a "CindyAndJoe" i-drive, which can be found here.

Alternatively, go to www.idrive.com and where it says:

Visitors
destination i-drive:

enter "cindyandjoe" and click on Visit.

The three Cindy video clips are there, but it turns out that i-drive has a limit on the number of downloads it allows each day, and this limit is being exceeded regularly. I guess that Cindy is too popular :-)

So there may not be anything you can do except to wait for MSN to get their act together and fix the problem. Sorry.

i, im a new proud member from spain. i´ve had problems also dowloading, and it is not because of yhe connection. I have DSL 256, pretty fast and it gives me the same problems. Try and try my friends, and if someone gtes a trick, please post.

Hello everyone,

I tried FreeDrive again, and now it seems to be working fairly well. (First time I tried it several weeks ago it was always down or running so slow it was unusable.)

So now I've uploaded the four (so far) Cindy video clips to FreeDrive. You should be able to download them if you follow this link:
