Message:
For Cindy And Joe
From: Novane Sent: 26 Feb. 2000 Message 1 of 3
I notice that in some forums when posting pics that there is a browse button one can utilize to upload pictures (regardles of the file type). Is the decision to have or not to have such a button up to MSN or the managers of this community? If the latter is the case can this be corrected? If the former can you contact MSN to change this? Should this be not possible can you tell us if dragging and dropping a file in the text message box will work? Are there any other options available and if so could you list them providing detailed instructions on carrying them out? The existence of this community is much appreciated and I for one hope you continue to keep it open.

Hi Novane,
I'm afraid it would be too much work for me to start documenting how to use MSN Web Communities in detail. Anyway, MSN has provided a pretty good Help file - just click on Help on the line at the top of each page.
Photo files can be uploaded in the Photo Album section. Other files should be uploaded as attachments to messages. Unfortunately, MSN temporarily disabled this feature about a month ago! It is supposed to be restored again on the 1st of March, but the date has been pushed several times already, so don't hold your breath.
You can see more about MSN Web Communities on this community: http://communities.msn.com/CommunityFeedback
In particular, to see when the Attachments feature is supposed to be restored, go to the Community Feedback community and click on Support Flash over on the left side.
Thanks for the compliments, and ask again if you are still unsure about anything.
Yours,
Joe

The "attach a file to the message" feature is working again.
