Pinbone Seperation
From: zappaz1 Sent: 07 Sep. 2000 Message 1 of 2
I ran across a photo that makes it easy to see the pinbones we have discussed before, and thought it might be of interest to those who are curious about what limits vaginal stretching distance. These bones we sit on are called the ischial tuberosities, or in more common language just "pinbones". Several have asked me what they have to do with vaginal stretching. Because these bones form the sides of the opening in the pelvis, the distance between them is the largest (side-to-side) distance the vagina can stretch open. During birth, the distance across the infants head can be this same size if the pelvis is not large, or the infant's head if quite large. In other words, this pinbone separation or distance is a limiting distance to vaginal stretching. How to measure this distance easily and the size variations of this distance, have been discussed before on Cindy and Joe. The picture shows two shiny areas of skin that represent the location of these bones just under the skin on each side of the anus. In this picture these bones appear to have a separation over five inches. The lady in the picture appears to stretch fairly easily and might be able to take something 5 inches across (the distance across a 3 liter pop bottle)

Sorry about my header to this post, as I wrote "Pinbone Sep-e-ration" instead of Pinbone Separation (pic) :-) In the future I will try to remember to add the (pic) after the header if the post has a picture, and (vid) if it has a video clip. People ask me, "what is the most I can stretch"? I tell them, "no more that your maximum (pinbone) limit". If you look at this picture, and imagine a right hand (fingers down) inserted past the knuckles with the thumb still outside the vagina, and then the left hand inserted the same way on the other side.. with both hands side to side.. you will notice that it will take very small hands to fit the width of the pelvic opening of the lady shown. Now imagine those two hands pressing the lower vaginal rim downward for a few minutes as the vaginal rim begins to stretch downward. As that happens, the opening of the anus begins to turn down and lie in a horizontal plane, and pointing downward. The lower vaginal rim moves down to where the anus was in the picture, as the vagina opens more. The hands will then sink downward, even past the shiny points of the pinbones. The vagina above those hands stays open to expose a huge opening. All this is what happens in those who can stretch their vagina to their pinbone, or maximum limit. Those rare ones who can naturally stretch this far, or even those who have practiced vaginal stretching until they can reach this maximum possible limit are rare. I have tried the above method but only on those who stretch very very easily without discomfort. I have only seen two who could take both my hands in the above manner. In one case, I could even get a little separation between my two hands. Each little finger side was against the pinbone on that side (this case had close to an 8 inch pinbone separation). This lady was the largest lady I have ever seen (very very tall with an 80+ inch hip measurement). She was probably one in a million, and I was fortunate to see such a case. It is unlikely such a rare person will ever make pictures, and I consider her to represent the near maximum in vaginal stretching possible. If you know your pinbone separation, you will then know what is your possible maximum limiting size. You can set a stretching goal, but _Never_ try to exceed your limit.
