Message:   Bladder Infections???

From: jcdc     Sent: 9 Jan. 2006     Message 1 of 7

Hi, we are new to this site. We have discovered the pleasure in fisting and also the G-Spot which causes me to squirt now lol . What I have found in the last month or so is that I have been getting alot of bladder infections and wondered if somehow it is related??? They are always pretty mild and I have been able to make them go away without having to see a doctor so far. Has anyone else had this problem?

We used to have a lot of information about this problem on our "archive web site", but unfortunately that site has been down since 1st January.

There does seem to be a relationship between fisting activities and UTI (urinary tract infections) for some women. For more information on UTI just do a Google search.

A simple thing to remember which helps prevent this problem for some women is to simply pee immediatly after the fisting or stretching activities. This washes the bacteria out of the urethra.

I'm afraid that's all I can come up with at the moment. I hope to get the "Cindy and Joe archive web site" up and running again some day, and then I can provide a pointer to the information we have there.

What you should do first is make sure that you go to the bathroom and
urinate immediately after the session. That will clean your urethra and
keep is relatively free from getting an infection. Secondly, be very
careful if that does not keep you free of UTIs, go to a doctor.

my advice is to urinate both before you start the activity and afterwards as well as having your partner using latex gloves... not only does it help reduce the chances for infection ,it stops the hand from soaking up the lube causing it to get too dry pretty quickly and also gives a smooth glide which causes less drag sensation when going in and out...

The Urinary tract on women is shorter than on men. I remember this from somewhere.. Anyway cranberry juice helps fight off infection in that department. I do not know why or how but it works. Other than that use advice above...

Yes, I'm posting a reply I know it's been a LONG time...

My X used to have this problem a LOT. The advice here has been right on. Peeing after sex helps a great deal, and the acid in cranberry juice does help kill the bacteria. Use lots of lube. Lube helps knock down the friction that causes the inflamation and helps keep bacteria from getting pushed up into the bladder.

Because the urethra track in women is so short, thrusting motion helps push bacteria into the bladder. When it gets stretched and inflamed a bit, it's always more sensitive to infections.

If it becomes a cronic problem, ask your doctor. There are pills they can perscribe if you need that help keep infections at bay. I can't remember the medicine name, but it's basically a low dose of antibacterial medicine.

Good luck to you, I know that this can be VERY painful!

Oh dear, that was 2 1/2 months ago that I wrote that, and 2 months since the Data Archive web site has been up again. I forgot about this thread, but now I'll post the links I would have posted back then.
