Lucy,

It is very dangerous to insert anything up through the cervix. Don't do it. Here is an old message thread where two doctors explain why it is a bad idea:

I don't know about fisting into the womb, but I know I can get a finger part way into my wife's cervix and she realy likes the sensation. Obviously you have to be sure you are not likely to introduce any infection or cause any damage. So clean, smoooth finger nails and gentleness are called for. Each time we do it the cervix opens a little more. There's a women with her own Yahoo group who can get a finger all the way into here cervix having first pushed the neck of here cervix fully outside of here vagina. AWESOME woman!

My advice to you is to stop doing it, and my advice to all members who read this is to don't try it. Here's that message thread again, where two different doctors both warn against inserting anything up through the cervix:

Depends what you mean by "awesome". I'd prefer to call her a nut case. A nut case with a medical problem (prolapsed uterus) who should be seeking medical attention to try to remedy it. And a dangerous nut case in that she's not only doing something dangerous to herself but encouraging others to do something dangerous.
