Aubergines/eggplants
From: katy Sent: 6 July 2002 Message 1 of 7
Can somebody please tell me if it's ok to cut the green stalk off of an eggplant so i can use both ends. I worried that exposing some of the flesh my irritate the skin.

Hi Katy,
Seeing as how we eat eggplants with great enjoyment I doubt that there can be any poisonous or irritating effects of them coming into contact with the vaginal skin.
If you want to be completely safe I suppose you could put a condom on the eggplant. That might even make it easier to lubricate.
Have fun!
Best wishes,
Cindy

You asked about trimming the ends. Here are two with trimmed ends:

Speaking of eggplants. My wife and I were messing with eggplants just this past weekend and she complained that she felt an uncomfortable burning sensation when they were inside her. Any otheres have this problem? Could there be something in the peel that could be irritating her?

I don't want to state the obvious, but make sure you wash them really well before playing. Use some anti-bacterial soap, and scrub well. There are all sorts of insecticides on fruits and vegetables.

Well naturally, everthing is well scrubbed. It must be an allergic thing if no one else is experiencing similiar issues. We've had no problems with butternuts, cucumbers, hands, or anything else we fancy sticking up there. Just Eggplants. Both times we've tried, she complained of the same thing.....

I think you're right about it being an allergic reaction. I must admit that I've only tried inserting an eggplant once, when Joe and I were doing the "Christmas shopping" photo series, but it didn't result in any irritation for me.
Best wishes,
Cindy
