Low back pain
From: porcupine Sent: 28 Mar. 2001 Message 1 of 6
Has anyone ever experienced low back pain from fisting? My lover feels that there may be some connection between vaginal looseness (pelvic spreading?) and her chronic L5 S1 hip pain. We really enjoy fisting and would like to increase her size but are hesitant for fear of making her back pain worse. We are not able to correlate her hip pain with fisting but fear a connection.

L5-S1 is the last disc region of the back and has nothing to do with fisting as far as I know.
Even if the pelvis were to spread wider (very unlikely) that change would tend to happen during pregnancy when "relaxin hormone" is present. Only then the slight change would be at the pubis and possibly "slightly" at the sacro iliac joints... not at L5-S1).

Thank you Zappaz! No sooner was the ink dry on your message than we were having a blast re-exploring her glorious talent and "expanding" the envelope, so to speak. There is no way to describe the pleasure!

There can be low back pain associated with fisting. After a particularly energetic session with my lover, I sometimes have lumbar back pains for a day or two. I've found if he pushes more up towards my front, instead of down and towards the spine, this does not become a problem.

In response to your mail on low back pain.. i have had the occasional sciatic pain.. shooting down my leg.. upon fisting ... and have found if my partner moves his hand to one extreme side that this can cause the pain.. almost as if he is pressing on my sciatic nerve.. but low back pain is not something i have experienced in l5/s1 area...

stickyknickers64,
Yes, a sciatic sensation and even sciatic pain can happen with sudden fisting pressure to the deep sides where the sciatic nerve goes through the greater sciatic notch. This is deep and to the sides and the nerve can feel this at times.
This is different from the pain caused by a nerve being pinched by a protruding disk in the back (the usual sciatica).
This sudden stimulation of the sciatic nerve by fisting is a quick thing and rapidly goes away, while the disk problems are long lasting and as far as I know are not related to fisting and sometimes require back surgery to relieve them.
It would be very unlikely that fisting pressure on a sciatic nerve would cause lasting nerve damage (unless extremely violent)... LOL
