Message:   Giving birth

From: nosy66     Sent: 28 Oct. 2004     Message 1 of 2

Hello everyone,

I have a quistion especially for the women.
IŽd like to know if it makes any difference in giving birth to a child before you became into fisting, and afther.
I can imagine when your vagina is wider, and when you can set your mind into being open, delevering a baby might get easyer.
Who has experianced this?

Thanks, and greetings from Holland

Hi Nosy66,

Well, I gave birth before getting into fisting, and haven't given birth since, so I can't answer from experience.

This question has been discussed before several times. See these message threads on our "data archive" web site:
http://www.cindyandjoearchive.com/Messages/Cat09/index.htm

There have been several people, including some from the medical profession, who have recommended fisting as a way of reducing problems in giving birth, and reducing the risk of an episiotomy being done during birth.

On the other hand, you should be aware that most of the pain and difficulties with dilation during childbirth occur when the baby passes through the cervix, not when he/she passes through the vagina and vaginal opening. Vaginal fisting will not make any difference to this part of giving birth. (I'm taking for granted that everyone understands that the cervix must not be penetrated as part of any sexual activities.)

Hope this helps. :-)

Regards,
Cindy
